Apostle Dr. Juan L Nelson, MDiv, DTh

 

Apostle Nelson was born September the eighth, 1969, in Durham, NC. He is the firstborn son and grandson in his family. Apostle Nelson grew up in the Holiness Pentecostal church, where he played drums and was in the choir. The apostle first received salvation and was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 15 years old. It was prophesied to him that he would one day be a minister of the gospel and lead God's people. By the time Apostle was 17 years of age, the enemy had attacked his life, and poor choices were made, and Apostle Nelson went astray. He spent the mid-80s and 90s running from the call on his life. Over the years, Apostle Nelson thought the words he had heard so long ago may not come to pass for him, but the Lord kept pulling on this man of God.

In 2002, Apostle Nelson moved to Charlotte, NC, and he and Pastor Marilyn were connected to a powerful ministry, Jesus Christ Abundant Life Ministries, under Doctor Andrew Lockhart. After seven years in this ministry, the Lord spoke to Juan and Marilyn and said it's time to return home because the Ministry is waiting for you. Apostle Nelson and his family moved back to Raleigh-Durham, and the Ministry began immediately. The Lord spoke to Apostle Juan and Pastor Marilyn and said Your process will be different. I am going to do a quick work in you. Apostle Juan preached his initial sermon at Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Norman Cooper in 2010. In 2013, under the leadership of Apostle Philip A. Walker, Apostle Nelson was installed as the Senior Pastor of Peacekeeper United Community Church (PUCC). Peacekeeper United Community later became Peacekeeper Kingdom Ministries Millennial Church.

In 2015, Apostle Juan received his associate degree in biblical studies, and 2016, his bachelor’s in biblical studies. Apostle Nelson did not stop there; he went on for two more years to complete his master’s degree in Christian Ministry and Divinity. Apostle Nelson has completed his Dissertation and now has his Doctorate in Theology. Apostle Nelson has received certifications in Peer Support, Life Coaching, Employment Coaching, and WRAP Facilitator. He is the Executive Director of the House of Serenity Transitional Housing. 

The Lord began to speak into his life and sent several Prophets, Bishops, and Apostles to speak to and confirm in Apostle Nelson's Spirit that the Lord was calling him to the Kingdom Government. In December 2020, Apostle Juan was consecrated and affirmed as an Apostle with the Royal Priesthood Fellowship and Apostle Rhonda Royal Hatton. Chief Apostle Mario L. Davis performed the affirmation. Apostle Nelson was enthroned and affirmed Chief Apostle of FreshWind Fellowship of Churches in 2022.

 

Apostle Juan L Nelson is the Senior Pastor of Peacekeeper Kingdom Ministry Millennial Church, Presiding Prelate of the Fresh Wind Fellowship, and Joshua Generation Outreach Ministry. 

Apostle Nelson's favorite saying is “Today God places his hands in your hand and together you and God can do something that you can't do alone.” He believes that the “Hand of God is the people of God, and God works through people to get done what he wants to be done on the Earth.” To God be the Glory. “We are called to battle, destined to win; failure and defeat are not in our future”.
